Request Account Deletion

Request deletion inside RoofPay or use the account-deletion request form on this page. If the form is unavailable, email support@auth-clear.com with the subject “RoofPay account deletion request.”

Include the email address used for the RoofPay account, the company name if known, whether the request is for a user account or a company-closure review, and any details that help AuthClear verify the request.

What Happens Next

AuthClear verifies the requester before approving deletion. Approved requests delete non-financial account data within 30 days.

If a company owner wants to delete only their user account while other company members remain, ownership must be transferred first. If a company owner wants to close the whole company, AuthClear treats that as a separate verified company-closure request. A staff-member deletion removes only that user and their company membership after verification.

Records We Retain

RoofPay retains legally required invoices, payments, refunds, receipts, disputes, and chargeback records for seven years. These records are retained for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, and payment-compliance purposes.

Backups follow the normal AWS expiration schedule. RoofPay does not promise that every backup is retained for seven years.

Refunds and Chargebacks

For v1, AuthClear support handles customer invoice-payment refunds, cancellations, disputes, and chargebacks manually through support@auth-clear.com. RoofPay does not provide an in-app contractor refund action in this release.

App Store and Google Play Subscriptions

Deleting your RoofPay account or closing a company does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel separately through the store where you subscribed: Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Subscription refunds follow the purchasing store’s policies and are separate from customer invoice-payment refunds.
