Information RoofPay Collects
RoofPay collects account information, company profile information, team membership information, customer and client contact details, estimates, invoices, line items, job notes, document photos, payment-link metadata, payment status, receipts, and operational logs needed to run the service.
RoofPay processes digital company-access subscription purchases and status through Apple App Store or Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. This includes the company identifier, purchase history and subscription status needed to verify access and manage subscriptions.
RoofPay does not collect card numbers, CVV, or bank-account credentials inside the app. Customer payment details are entered on an AuthClear-hosted checkout page and processed by AuthClear and its payment processors or subprocessors.
How RoofPay Uses Information
RoofPay uses information to authenticate users, manage companies and team members, create and send estimates and invoices, host customer payment links, process payment status, send receipts when enabled, provide support, keep audit logs, prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal and compliance obligations.
Sharing and Processors
RoofPay uses service providers and processors needed to operate the product, including AWS infrastructure services, Amazon Cognito authentication, Amazon SES email delivery when enabled, Apple App Store, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, and AuthClear payment services. AuthClear may use payment processors and payment-service subprocessors to complete hosted checkout and payment-compliance workflows.
Account Deletion and Retention
Users can request account deletion inside RoofPay, through the RoofPay account-deletion page or by emailing support@auth-clear.com.
Approved requests delete non-financial account data within 30 days. RoofPay retains legally required invoices, payments, refunds, receipts, disputes, and chargeback records for seven years. Backups follow the normal AWS expiration schedule.
Security
RoofPay uses HTTPS in transit and managed cloud-infrastructure controls. Data is stored in AWS-managed services and protected using the access controls and encryption features configured for those services.
